Cape Cod Marathon & Relay

The NMC Mixed Masters team captures second place in 2:53:32
The NMC mixed master team, consisting of team captain Deb Fontaine, Frank Gorham, Ricky Hebert, Mark Fontaine, and Deb Spencer (shown finishing in photo above) placed second at the Cape Cod Marathon Relay on Sunday, October 29, 2000.

The North Medford Club's presence was just awesome at the Cape Cod Marathon!  
Our membership's individuals and teams in both the entire marathon and 
the relay event were outstanding.  The following is a list of individual 
performances, listed in order of overall finish.  

1. Josh Curtis ran a 2:54:11, running in his FIRST marathon!  Way to go Josh!!
   His time was good enough for an overall finish place of 21st and 10th in 
   his age group.

2. Mark Wigler ran a 3:01:54, good enough for a second in the senior division 
   and 37th overall.

3. Michael LeClair- 3:14:38, running in his FIRST marathon!

4. Lesley Keene ran a 3:17:04, giving her the 2nd place honors for her age 
   group and 11th overall woman 
   
5. Brenda Bolan -   3:23:43 

6. Brian Byrne -    3:33:21  

7. George Graves-   3:37:19

8. Kris Gleason -   3:45:29 (Qualified for Boston!  Way to go, Kris!)

9. Paul Schell-     3:49:22 (Running his first marathon in 19 years)

10. Paul McDermott-  3:55:36 

11.Brian Gleason-   4:01:12

12.Darlene Murray-  4:02:51 

13.Julian Siegal-   5:22:13
