Despite a small field of 30 runners and 32 walkers, the event was a huge success.
In addition to their entry fee and food items, many participants donated additional
money to the food panty, and many cash donations came in from non-participants.
Cash prizes were awarded (and in one case donated in return) to the first place
male and female runners, and first place male and female walkers received trophies.
In keeping with tradition, all participants and volunteers were entered into the
raffle, which consisted of gift certificates donated from various area merchants.
Refreshments were available and Tee shirts were awarded to all participants.
Thanks to all the club members who helped make this event a success by either
volunteering or running.
